Cookie Policy
Last updated: June 2026. Short version: we don't use tracking or advertising cookies. We use one functional cookie when you're signed in as admin.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that websites store on your device to remember information between visits. Some are essential for the site to work; others are used for analytics, advertising, or personalization.
Cookies we use
1. ds_session (admin only)
When you sign in to the admin panel at dhanuksoftwares.com/admin/, we set a single session cookie named ds_session. This cookie:
- Contains a signed, time-limited token (24 hours).
- Is marked
HttpOnly(inaccessible to JavaScript, prevents XSS theft). - Is marked
Secure(only sent over HTTPS). - Is marked
SameSite=Strict(not sent on cross-site requests). - Is automatically deleted when you sign out or after 24 hours of inactivity.
If you never visit /admin/, this cookie is never set.
2. sessionStorage admin session token (admin only)
The admin panel stores the session token in your browser's sessionStorage (not a cookie). This is cleared when you close the browser tab. It contains no personal data.
Cookies we do not use
- No Google Analytics cookies
- No Facebook Pixel or Meta tracking
- No Google AdSense or any ad network cookies
- No Hotjar, Mixpanel, Segment, or third-party analytics
- No A/B testing tools that set cookies
- No chat widgets (Intercom, Drift, Crisp) that set cookies
- No social media embeds that set tracking cookies
Third-party services that may set cookies
If you click a link to an external app store (Google Play, Uptodown, OPPO Store, etc.) or to our GitHub profile, the destination site may set its own cookies. We do not control those cookies. Please review the cookie / privacy policy of each site you visit.
Cloudflare cookies
Cloudflare (our hosting provider) uses strictly necessary cookies for security and routing (such as __cf_bm for bot management). These are first-party, set by Cloudflare, expire within 30 minutes, and contain no personal data. They cannot be disabled without breaking site functionality.
How to control cookies
Most browsers allow you to:
- View what cookies a site has set
- Delete individual or all cookies
- Block all cookies from a specific site
- Block all third-party cookies
If you block all cookies, the admin panel may not function correctly (you won't be able to sign in). The public site will continue to work without cookies.
Do Not Track (DNT)
We honor the Do Not Track browser signal. Since we don't use tracking cookies in the first place, DNT doesn't change our behavior — there's simply nothing to disable.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. Changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
